I live in Jacksonville, Arkansas with my husband, Michael. We’re new transplants all the way from Phoenix, Arizona.  Long story short: God brought us here and we’re in the beginnings of a most amazing (and scary) adventure with Him.

I did make the mistake of believing that once we got here, everything would magically fall into place.  But after I started learning to let go of trying  to control everything (note I said I’m learning, hahaha), that’s when things began working.  It’s a huge exercise in trust, learning to believe God on a daily basis for our most basic needs, as we navigate a new beginning that doesn’t look anything like we thought it would.

I think we’re a little overdue for new pictures…

We’re currently living in a weekly/monthly rental with our three “kids.” Stryker is our six year old Sulcata tortoise we’ve had since she was a month old. She’s our 90 pound “little lady.” Our two rescues came along just a couple months prior to our move.  Rex is our senior dog who has cataracts, arthritis, and heart trouble, but who will walk and sniff grass for hours. And Lucky is our little Sulcata who walks like a cowboy and has no fear.

God is always with you, as He has been with me.

Even if you've shut Him out, even if you don't feel His presence. He's ALWAYS there. And He loves you, no matter what. No matter what you've done, no matter what has happened in your life, or what other people have done to you.

Though you may doubt and wonder. Though you may feel like it will never get better and there is no point. I'm living proof that it can and it will. Christ has felt your pain - YOURS personally. And He can heal you.

God created this business, using an imperfect, sinful and scarred child like me. And if he can do that, what can he do in your life? Something beautiful and amazing, that I know for sure.

I testify that Christ lives. That because of Him, we can not only be saved, but we can be healed and made whole. His sacrifice through the Atonement made these things possible. He would have done it just for me alone. He would have done it just for you alone. That's how much He loves us. Always remember that.
